
Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to your purchase of the Your Personality Profiler assessment (the "Service") from Career Smart International (ACN 626 059 774) via yourpersonality.com.au.
Please read this Policy carefully before purchasing. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
1. Nature of the product
The Service is a digital product. Once you purchase access, you are able to immediately begin the online assessment and, on completion, receive your personality and career profile results.
2. Change-of-mind refunds
Because the Service is a digital product that is made available to you immediately on purchase, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once you have started or accessed the assessment.
Before you start the assessment, you may request a refund of your purchase by contacting us at sharon@careersmartconsulting.com.au. Once you have begun answering the assessment questions, the Service is considered to have been supplied and consumed, and change-of-mind refunds are no longer available.
3. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which cannot be excluded.
Our Service comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. Among other things, these guarantees include that the Service will be:
- Provided with due care and skill;
- Reasonably fit for the purpose you made known to us; and
- Provided within a reasonable time.
If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the nature of the failure, this may include having the problem fixed, being re-supplied the Service, or receiving a refund.
For example, if you are unable to access the assessment due to a fault on our part, if the assessment does not function as described, or if you do not receive your results due to a fault on our part, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL.
4. How to request a refund or remedy
To request a refund or raise a problem with the Service, please contact us at sharon@careersmartconsulting.com.au with:
- Your full name;
- The email address used for your purchase;
- The date of your purchase; and
- A description of the issue.
We will assess each request on its merits and in accordance with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. We aim to respond to all requests within a reasonable period.
5. How refunds are processed
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, via our payment processor, Stripe. Please allow a reasonable period for the refund to appear in your account, as processing times are determined by Stripe and your financial institution.
