This Privacy Policy explains how Career Smart International (ACN 626 059 774) ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you use the website yourpersonality.com.au and purchase or complete the Your Personality Profiler assessment (the "Service").
 
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the *Privacy Act 1988* (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
 
By using our website or the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
 
1. What personal information we collect
 
We collect the following personal information directly from you when you register for and complete the assessment:
 
- Your first name and surname
- Your email address
- Your age group
- Your suburb and postcode
- Your phone number
- Your responses to the assessment questions
 
When you make a purchase, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full credit card or bank details on our systems. Stripe handles your payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable security standards.
 
We also automatically collect certain technical information through our website hosting platform, Wix, including through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
 
 2. How we collect your information
 
We collect personal information:
 
- Directly from you, when you complete the registration form, answer the assessment, contact us, or subscribe to communications;
- Automatically, when you browse our website (via cookies and analytics provided by our hosting platform);
- From our payment provider, Stripe, in relation to the status of your transaction (for example, confirmation that a payment was successful).
 
3. Why we collect, hold and use your information

- To create and manage your access to the assessment;
- To deliver the assessment and generate your personality and career profile results;
- To process your payment and provide order confirmation;
- To send you transactional communications relating to your purchase and results (for example, your order confirmation and assessment results);

- To send you marketing communications, such as newsletters and promotional offers, where you have consented to receive them (see Section 4);

From time to time we may send you marketing communications, such as newsletters and promotional offers, but only where you have consented to receive them.
 
In accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), every marketing email we send will identify us as the sender and will include a way to unsubscribe. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by contacting us at sharon@careersmartconsulting.com.au.
 
Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional communications that are necessary to deliver the Service you have purchased (for example, your order confirmation or assessment results).

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose your personal information to:
 
- Our service providers, who assist us in operating our website and delivering the Service, including:
  - Wix, our website hosting platform;
  - Stripe, our payment processor;
  - Our email delivery provider, used to send transactional and (where consented) marketing communications.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountants or lawyers, where reasonably necessary;
- Government or regulatory authorities, where required or authorised by law.
 
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your information is stored within our Wix platform databases and with the third-party providers described above.

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

The Service may be taken by participants under the age of 18, with a minimum participant age of 15.
 
Where a participant is under 18, the Service must be purchased by a parent or guardian, who consents to the collection and use of the participant's personal information as described in this Policy. We collect personal information about participants under 18 only where their parent or guardian has purchased the Service and provided this consent.
 
A parent or guardian may exercise the rights described in this Policy — including requesting access to, or correction of, the participant's personal information — on the participant's behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from participants under the age of 15.
 
If you believe we have collected personal information about a person under 15, or about a minor without appropriate parental or guardian consent, please contact us at support@yourpersonality.com.au and we will take reasonable steps to address the matter.
